History

It’s a Family Affair.

The talent behind Kitchens by Eileen evolved from a growing love for art and design and was recognized in 1972 when Eileen Riddle graduated from duCret School of Art. While raising a family in New York, Eileen answered an ad for an artist to sketch kitchen and bath designs at a local cabinet shop. Thus began her love for space planning and design. She went on to study and acquire her CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) Certification in 1995.

In 2009 Eileen took a leap of faith and decided to take the opportunity to become an independent designer. “I love to cook and entertain, so I know how frustrating it can be to not have the right tools at your fingertips when you need them.” With one assistant, Eileen opened the doors to Kitchens by Eileen in downtown Lititz.

With rapid success and growing recognition, Eileen’s son Aaron joined the business in 2012, expanding vision of KbE. Seven years later, Eileen took a much deserved retirement leaving the business in his hands. Today, Aaron and his team of amazing designers continue the KbE legacy of beautiful design and superior craftsmanship.

How We Serve Our Customers

We loved working with Eileen and her team! Their patience with us as we made decisions through the project never waivered. They were readily accessible; their attention to detail is impeccable; the timeline was kept; they were all very professional yet personal. We'd choose Kitchens by Eileen all over again!

The results were amazing. Besides the excellent craftsmanship of the work, Eileen’s precise perfection and attention to detail, yielded a room that is frankly more than we ever dreamed possible. I was completely comfortable having Eileen’s team work in my home and I returned from work in the evening to find the day’s mess cleaned up! Anyone who chooses to work with Kitchen’s by Eileen will not be disappointed.
